$#*! My Dad Says tv sitcom review

Henry, a struggling writer, is forced to move in with his father, a ill-tempered retired army doctor, who is not pleased with that unexpected change in his bachelor life.

Comedy series with William Shatner doesn’t sound like a good idea. Comedy series starring William Shatner sounds like a horrible idea. But $#*! My Dad Says proved that it is actually possible to make a decent comedy with William Shatner. To be honest the series weren’t original nor had potential for a long run, but the most surprising thing about it was that Shatner’s character was actually the strongest point of the series. His grumpy and ill-tempered main character was the main source of comical moments, with help from Sullivan and Sasso the show was quite enjoyable.

Unfortunately the show was cancelled after just a single season which is a shame. It probably wasn’t going to improve with time (mostly because of lack of strong additional characters), but it could easily go for another season.
