The last human being alive, the creture that evolved from his cat, hologram of other crew member and an android - all stuck aboard a ship called Red Dwarf drifting through empty space. And yes, this really is comedy series.

It is a little bit strange at the beginning to even imagine that such situation could be funny, but after just a few episodes it really grasps the viewers. It is set in space which give a lot of options to choose and creators did made a use of it - travel in time, travel in space, alien creatures, the list is almost endless.
