Staff of a science lab at St Dunstan’s University is unusual set of characters - from eccentric Nobel winning professor, who seems to passed it, to Dutch born dean, who is nothing but weird.
Not many people will agree that Lab Rats was in fact a brave try. Overall it was not very impressive performance from actor-writer Chris Addison that resulted in short-lived sitcom, but to be fair the whole idea wasn’t bad, some of the scripts were not bad, some of the jokes were rather good.
But the one thing that made the difference was that the atmosphere and the kind of humour used in Lab Rats was fresh - the jokes were rather simple, sometimes even childish, but the wacky, a little bit surreal and relaxed atmosphere was something that was missing in recent productions.
