Small hotel in Torquay runned by Basil Fawlty, who is unhappily married, hates his job, hates his customers and hates being in hotel business. Not to mention he does not know a single thing about consumer satisfaction.

Fawlty Towers is one of the small hotels in Torquay runned by ill-tempered owner Basil, his bossy wife Sybil, incompetent Spanish waiter Manuel and the only reasonable in the staff Polly.

| Basil tries to raise the tone of the hotel by advertising to the higher class of clients, but the arrival of Lord Melbury brings chaos to his life. |
2 | The Builders |
| Fawlty Towers requires some changes to improve the interior and Basil decides behind Sybil’s back to hire cheap builders. When he sees what they have to done to his hotel he must find the way to distract Sybil. |
3 | The Wedding Party |
| Basil gets annoyed when a young couple becomes overamorous in the hotel, but at the same time he has to avoid the advances of a wealthy French antique dealer. |
4 | The Hotel Inspectors |
| When Basil hears of hotel inspectors roaming Torquay incognito, he becomes suspicious that one of his guests could be an inspector, but he can’t find the way to make sure which one. |
5 | Gourmet Night |
| In an effort to appeal to higher class of clients Basil arranges a gourmet night, but the plan is falling into pieces when the chef gets drunk. |
6 | The Germans |
| While Sybil is in the hospital Basil is hit on the head by the moose’s head that he was trying to hang up. He begins to act strangely when German guests arrive. |
