The life (or lack of such) that surrounds the gas station in fictional town Dog River, Saskatchewan, Canada. Attractive newcomer Lacey Burrows opens a diner and has to adapt to very slow and very quiet surroundings.

Very relaxing in simplicity of life in Dog River. Perhaps not quite as funny as other sitcoms, but not in any way boring. Also Corner Gas is one of the unfortunately rare examples of comedy series that was ended in right moment.

It’s really hard to describe the series in just few words - the citizens of Dog River have their ways to spend time since not much is going on around and strangely enough it is a great fun to watch them. The pace of the plots is slow (as everything in this town) and most of the time there isn’t much single-liners in it, but creators managed to keep it fresh and entertaining for few seasons.
