Successful New York cartoonist Caroline Duffy, author of comic strip called Caroline in the City, hires an uptight artists Richard as the colorist. With her midwest approach she just can’t help trying to change his cynical mind.



Caroline in the City Season 2 (1996)

Not knowing that wedding of Caroline didn’t go through Richard moves back to New York and after meeting Caroline on the street he comes back to work for her. But at this time Caroline is dating younger man, a veterinarian Joe.

Meanwhile Annie find Richard’s letter to Caroline in which he declares his love and uses it to blackmail him into doing some unpleasant things.

Del is fired from his father’s company and starts his own business, Eagle Greeting Cards. Caroline agrees to sign the contract with him, but the company isn’t doing well.

At the end of the season Richard meets Julia, the girl that was a love of his life and they get together just when Caroline realizes that she has feelings for Richard too.

Caroline goes on a date with young vet, but what suppose to be one night stand turns into relationship. Meanwhile, Richard moves back to New York ant they meet accidentally.

Del decides to branch out into merchandising, but in order to do so he has to leave Cassidy Greeting Cards to start his own company, forcing Caroline to choose between good business and her friendship with Del.
