Caroline in the City

Caroline splits up with her boyfriend Del, greeting cards company executive, and is forced to hire a new colorist, uptight painter Richard. She doesn’t want Del to know that she doesn’t already have date and at the end she turns up in restaurant with Richard.

When Caroline injures her back while playing racquetball Del and Richard work together to complete Caroline’s unfinished cartoon strip to meet her deadline.

Richard turns up at the apartment with news that he has been mugged, losing not just his wallet, but also portfolio with Caroline’s drawings. Caroline not only has to postpone her trip to Atlantic City, but also help Richard deal with his trauma.

Caroline decides that if she and Del resume dating then they should abstain from sex for a fortnight and instead focus on what’s at the heart of their relationship, which makes Richard really uncomfortably.

Annie wants Caroline to meet her boyfriend, but she didn’t exactly mention that he is and ex-convict. Later on Caroline’s apartment is robbed...

Caroline and Annie’s plan to get Richard’s big break by putting his paintings into Kenneth Arabian Gallery. The problem is that this galery is displaying exclusively gay artists.

Caroline is nervous about meeting Del’s parents for the first time. Meanwhile Annie plans to make Richard’s 30th birthday a little bit more miserable than he expected.

When Caroline is trying to take cash out from ATM the surveillance camera has captured her in an awkward moment and she is too embarrassed to let the bank personel to view the tape.

Caroline is thrilled when she gets to relive her childhood dream: as her comic strip is showcased as the newest balloon in a Thanksgiving Day parade.

When Caroline realises the Xmas gift Del gave her might have been expensive, she suspects he might think about getting back together. Richard is excited when he gets his first client as an artist - a woman who wants him to paint her in the nude.

Caroline buys an antique partner’s desk and finds a watch in it. She is determined to find out who it belonged to. A guilt-ridden Del attends the funeral of a long-term employee to whom he never gave a raise.

Richard sets Caroline up on a date with Tom, an arts council member, who happens to hold the key to Richard’s future as a successful artist. But when he finds out that he is married, Richard is split between protecting a friend and furthering his career.

Caroline takes Richard to her hometown, when Pesthigo honours her by dedicating a park in her name.

Annie re-introduces Caroline to the wonderful world of dating by taking her out on a manhunt. But when Caroline thinks she has met the perfect man she later finds that he is not all that he seems to be. Del convinces Richard to go out on a double date.

Del surprises Caroline with a marriage proposal, Richard feels that he is no longer wanted and decides its time to look for another job. Annie and Remo convinces a confused Caroline that Richard has feelings for her.

Caroline and Richard are hired by a wealthy man to paint a mural for his son. Meanwhile, Del’s competitive nature surfaces when Caroline’s ex-boyfriend, Marco visits.

Del takes Caroline on a weekend trip, they unexpectedly run into Del’s bitter ex-wife. Meanwhile Richard is being dragged into huge argument of Annie’s family.

When Caroline entrusts Annie with various maid-of-honour duties, she learns that Annie’s isn’t as dependable as she would expect.

Caroline helps Richard confront unresolved issues with his estranged mother, when she makes a surprising visit to New York.

Caroline’s agent lands a promotional cereal deal for Caroline In The City, Caroline’s initial optimism turns sour when Richard points out some fault of the product.

When Caroline and Annie discover that John Landis is in town to shoot a new movie, they both jump at the chance to become extras.

Caroline and Del’s wedding day nears and Caroline is confused by a state of anxiety and stress, whilst Del experiences panic attacks. Richard decides to come clean about his feelings and confess his love for Caroline by writing a love letter.
