Historical saga about the Edmund Blackadder and his successor during the history of Britain. Typical Edmund Blackadder is cunning, back-stabbing and conscienceless man, who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, especially in politics.

	Rowan Atkinson	as Edmund Blackadder Representative of old line of Blackadders Edmund is goofy son (in season 1) or very inteligent, cunning and arrogant person (in later seasons).
	Tony Robinson	as Baldrick Smart (in season 1) and extremely dimwit individual (in later seasons). He and his ancestors often are servants to Blackadder family.
	Tim McInnerny	as Lord Percy Blackadder?s half-witted friend (at least he thinks they are friends).
	Miranda Richardson	as Queen Elizabeth I Cruel queen of England.
	Stephen Fry	as Lord Melchett Melchett?s are line of educated, but not always bright people that are involved with Blackadders.
