Alien spaceship crashes on the garage of typical suburban family, the Tanners. The creature inside is far from what you have seen on the scifi movies - he doesn’t want to take over the world, he doesn’t have superpowers, he doesn’t have superior brain...
It started fresh and kept quite good level for long time. Of course the creators couldn’t avoid some level of repetition since main characters couldn’t leave the house, but still they did splendid job.
