Sketch based show created by later well known British comedians - Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graham Chapman, John Cleese and Marty Feldman.
Not many episodes of the At Last the 1948 Show actually survived (only 5 complete and parts of few more), but even from what is available we can tell that it was one of the Monty Python’s Flying Circus predecessors (even Eric Idle, who at this time was working on Do Not Adjust Your Set with Michael Palin and Terry Jones, made small cameos).
Sketches are funny and entertaining, keeping the style of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, f.e. the classic sketch Four Yorkshiremen was presented here for the first time. An absolute must-see for all the Monty Python’s Flying Circus’ fans.
