Comedian Alexei Sayle as a star of his own show - mixture of sketches and stand up comedy.

This TV comedy show is a mixture between stand up-like monologues of Alexei Sayle and sketches. Sometimes they are connected, but often present completely different styles and stories. While sketches are often quite entertaining the stand up parts are not very inspired to say the least. Well, let’s face it Sayle doesn’t have any acting skills, his observational humor sometimes is interesting, sometime jokes are far too obvious and sometimes they are just poor. As for the sketches they are rather chaotic in style (parodies, musical numbers, absurdal humor), seldom connected with each other, some of them were aspiring to be similiar to Monty Python’s Flying Circus style, but often they were just average to say the least.

Overall - not very impressive show with some good points (some very good sketches), but also a lot weak points.
