Due to some extraordinary coincidences Jim Hacker finds himself in position to become a new Prime Minister and moves up from ministry to diplomacy.
In some ways not as good as predecessor (Yes Minister), but in some ways better. The surroundings have changed, the balance of power between Hacker and Sir Humphrey have changed, but the atmosphere kept the same sense of homour.
