Senator Selina Meyer becomes Vice President of the United States, which is bad news... for United States since she has great talent for mishaps.

Armando Iannucci started this project as almost copy of his British comedy series The Thick of It, but with some small changes. First of all the main character is the vice president and not her staff, the original idea of showing what is behind politics changed to constant struggle to keep the good public relations and since the counterpart of Malcolm Tucker is missing the whole project looks more like a classic sitcom rather than political satire.

The scripts are just average, atmosphere not very involving, the cast bleak. Another missed opportunity to adapt British comedy series to American market.
