TV series presenting parodies of well known stories, but usually with a little twist... or sometimes a huge twist.

TV comedy show that offers parodies of well known stories or films all mixed with rather lowbrow humor. Doesn’t sound too good, isn’t it? But in fact it was very entertaining show that offered some old school humor with sexual innuendos and rather primitive jokes that was a little bit dated in 1984. Still, even after all the years it is good laugh if you don’t count on sophisticated and subtle humor. Also the cast was rather interesting - William Franklyn as serious actor plays the "normal person", Barry Cryer throwing lots of jokes (some of them intentionally in a really bad taste), Bob Todd and Anna Dawson (both well known from Benny Hill Show) plus Jimmy Mulville and lovely Madeline Smith.

Definately worth a try - you may get hooked up.
