| It’s Valentine’s Day and a box of chocolates have been left in the smoking room, leaving everyone to guess who they are for. |
6 | Feeding Time |
| It’s lunch time and it’s pouring rain outside, making Janet reconsider going out to get Sharon’s lunch. |
7 | Only Temporary |
| Barry is smitten with the new temp who is getting on Sally’s nerves. Lilian returns from her holiday. |

| It’s Lilian’s birthday: Yvonne and Lois are organising nibbles, Annie is trying to chat Robin up and Sharon’s attempts to mix with her workforce succeed only in driving Gordon to drinking. Robin is hoping Ben from the post room will finally turn up. |
