1980s British tv sitcom

Graham Jones is devoted male personal secretary of Joan Warner, a top business executive, who struggle to keep the balance between motherhood and her career.

Short-lived comedy series based around Are You Being Served? star John Inman and created by Ronald Chesney and Ronald Wolfe (On the Buses). It was set in rather closed environment of Joan’s office and house, which limited the plots and after a while it was clear that it’s just not enough for this comedy to go on.

It was interesting to see John Inman in slightly different role, but Graham Jones wasn’t far from Mr Humphreys of Are You Being Served? which made him a star. The series itself were not bad, but on the other hand they weren’t great either.
