Uptight Henry becomes new editor for horror books author Ian Stark, who has unique sense of humour and unique lifestyle.

Tony Shalhoub after Wings and Neil Patrick Harris some years after Doogie Howser, M.D. doesn’t really sound like a good idea, but actually it works. The whole idea for the show isn’t particurarly original - clash between two completely different characters is used very often (Odd Couple, Dharma & Greg, Caroline in the City or Red Dwarf just to name few), but with help of interesting plots and good cast (especially Tony Shalhoub) Stark Raving Mad made really enjoyable show.

It still is quite a mystery why the show was cancelled since it was doing really well in the ratings and the series itself were above average. But it isn’t first and unfortunately nor the last example how strange mind of a tv producer can work. All we can say is it’s a shame Stark Raving Mad wasn’t given more time.
