Todd Dempsy returns to the office to become the manager, but he finds that the call center he will be running has just been outsourced. To Mumbai, India actually.

Outsourced is one of the very, very, very few examples of American shows that try to show some other culture than American. On one hand this series is quite refreshing, but on the other hand, despite that story takes place in India, it is still concentrated around American culture.

At the beginning we have a person put in completely unknown surrounding (successful idea from f.e. Northern Exposure or Doc Martin) who tries to adapt. Later we have Indian employees that, for some strange reason, after a while are almost desperate to acquire as many American customs as possible. And later we have rather average office humor comedy and as it was said before all the offices around the world are pretty much the same (like Less Than Perfect, The Office or Drew Carey Show).

But creators manages to put together group of interesting characters, the whole show has rather warm atmosphere and overall is quite relaxing. Despite some flaws it was good show and pity it wasn’t renewed for second season.
