Pete and Sue have 3 lovely children. Well, at least they are lovely if you don’t have to live with them - inside their house is constant struggle to take control.

Two parents, three kids and nothing but their problems - doesn’t sound like an idea for good sitcom. There were several similiar comedy series (2point4 Children, I Hate My Teenage Daughter, Roseanne, Life of Riley, My Family to name just few) and Outnumbered would probably not gain much attention if it wouldn’t be created by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton, who were also authors of such shows as Drop the Dead Donkey, The Return of Shelley or The Old Harry’s Game. And here they have left their mark - simple, everyday stories that takes place in every family they’ve turned into quite entertaining sitcom.

Two parents lost in the challenge of parenthood have to deal with their kids that often baffle them with their rather intelligent questions, f.e. like when they had to explain to one of their kids the difference between lying and using sarcasm. The series is popular especially amongst parents, but can be great fun for other viewers.
