Oh Doctor Beeching!

1990s British tv sitcom

In 1963 Doctor Beeching, as new head of British Railways, decided to close a lot of railroad lines which has affected the lifes of Hatley station staff. When new manager arrives they still are not sure if they have future with the railways.

Another series written by David Croft with cast of the You Rang M’Lord is in many ways similiar to previous series. There isn’t much going on in small station of Hatley, so we see a lot of comedy from characters, their ways through life.

This series isn’t as good as You Rang M’Lord, but keeps the good quality - it’s still entertaining, some of the scenes are really funny, characters are likeable.
