1990s British tv sitcom

Three night security guards in office building - Carter, Bell and Sarge - have one of the dullest jobs there are, but each night something extraordinary happens to them.

It is hard to descibe Nightingales in just few words - it isn’t for everybody’s taste, the humour is absurdal, plots weird to say the least and the whole outlook rather dark and gloomy.

But on the other hand the series is strangely engaging, especially in second series where the creators cut off the last connections with reality.

You won’t find here typical humour as in other series, but Nightingales has it’s own style and it’s own way of building up jokes. The first season was to just average, the second season made few years later was more mature and better developed, but still it’s far from being great.
