New Adventures of Old Christine

When her ex-husband remarries (also to girl named Christine) divorced single mom Christine finds her own ways to took control over her life. Not the best ways though.

The only good attempt to make new series from any of the Seinfeld cast. Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays a divorced mom that tries to cope with her new life, relationship with ex-husband and his new wife, dealing with her rather unusual brother and also unique business partner Barb.

Generally speaking it was a good effort, perhaps not the greatest show ever, but it had it’s moments. Of course creators didn’t avoid some really strange and pointless plots, few characters didn’t really work (f.e. Marly and Lindsay usually just filled the time without adding much to the plot or comedy values). In some points the character of Old Christine was a little bit too similiar to I Love Lucy, but really good parts from Barb and Matthew saved the day.
