Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width

1960s British tv sitcom

Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width tv sitcom review

Two tailors run the business together - Manny Cohen is Jewish and Patrick Kelly is Irish catholic. They do not allow their religion get in the way of good argument.

The series had very limited potential - two main characters were suppose to be opposite to each other (one being Jewish and the other catholic), but it didn’t work well - the plots were usually very simple, comic elements rare and rather weak, characters too similiar, not enough going on outside the workshop.

Overall it was an average sitcom - not bad, but not in any way unforgettable.
