2000s British tv sitcom

Average British family from suburban - dentist Ben, his wife Susan and three lovely children. The problem is they just don’t seem to get along well.

Fred Barron made an experiment with My Family - he tried to break the British tradition of making comedy series by just one or two writer. He made this sitcom on American method - which a lot different writers for single episodes and their work is just being supervised. Strangely enough the effect is rather positive - the episodes are rather smooth, humour is on good level, the chemistry between characters is very good. The series is running for 10 seasons already and it’s still isn’t the end which could only mean that the experiment worked.
