Bundy family isn’t an ordinary American family... Or is it? Al works hard in the shoe store, his wife Peg spends all his money, his dim-witted daughter Kelly is just pregnancy waiting to happen and his teenage son Bud is smart, but rather awkward.

One of just few examples in American sitcoms when the main characters are poor people with no luck or perspectives. And it worked perfectly - the overworked husband, lazy wife, stupid daughter and unpopular son have became a hit. The creators had few better and few worst moments (f.e. when they’ve put an extra child to the cast), but overall the series went pretty well thanks to good cast and good ideas for the episodes. Of course with time the same set of characters begun to repeat the routines, but most of the time Married with Children is a great fun.
