The local by-election takes place and Bill and Eddie try to distribute the leflets, but they are more concentrated on disturbing each other than the by-election.

Joan blackmails Eddie to help more around the house while she is pregnant or she’ll ask her mother to move in. Eddie tries his best, but still wants to go to a football match without Joan knowing about.

It’s Christmas and after an argument with Joan Eddie dreams of living on a tropic island.

Eddie brags about his will to help those less fortunate in the worst possible moment - he is tricked to invite the homeless man to stay with him and Joan.
