Joey Tribbiani moves from New York to Los Angeles in order to pursuit his acting career. He stays with her sister and starts the new stage of his life.
Joey is one of the shining examples that to make a successful spin-off from popular comedy series it takes much more than just an idea. Matt LeBlanc again as Joey Tribbiani from Friends this time is moved to Los Angeles, completely different environment, completely different style of humor and complete failure. It’s hard to point out just a single thing that went wrong - the character of Joey obviously wasn’t as attractive for viewers on his own without other characters from Friends around him.
Most of the episodes were fairly entertaining, but couldn’t compete with Friends nor many other series from the same era. The whole series was relocated to California, Only 4 main characters were provided and some plots were just weak. Joey was good addition to other characters in Friends, but on his own was just a desperate try to make some money on an overdue idea.
