The soldiers from Royal Artillery Depot Concert Party at Deolali, India in 1945 have to face problems like Japanese threat, the heat, the revolt of locals, but what scares them most is their Sergeant-Major Williams.
The Concert Party keeps putting on the show despite the heavy weather and actions of Sergeant Williams.

| Just before breaking of the monsoon the weather is unbearable for the concety party, especially Loft, who seems to be planning the assassination of Segreant Major. |

| Concert party receives the invitation to give a concert on the North-West Frontier and Mrs Waddilove-Evans decides to join them on that trip to spend some time with the colonel. |
3 | A Fate Worse Than Death |
| Second part of "Kidnapped in the Khyber".
When Mrs Waddilove-Evans is kidnapped the concert party sets to rescue her. |
4 | Ticket to Blighty |
| The concert party starts a scheme to find the way to be sent home and Bombardier Beaumont is chosen to be the first one to try it. |

| When Lofty comes back from railroad station he brings back not only the parcel that he was sent for - small elephant follows him back to camp. |
6 | Flight to Jawani |
| The concert party is visiting the men from a remote RAF base that haven’t has any entertainment in months. Unfortunately they get too excited when they see photo of Beaumont dressed as Gloria. |
7 | We Are Not Amused |
| A pageant written by Captain Ashwood glorifies the role of Great Britain in "civilizing" the Indians. On the last moment the District Officer that was suppose to be the special guest on the concert had to send his assistant instead, but the problem is that his assistant is Indian. |
8 | Twenty-One Today |
| Gunner Parkin turns twenty-one and Sergeant Major, believing to be his father, wants to give him a special present. |
