James Bond parody - Maxwell Smart is a secret agent of CONTROL agency, who’s job is to stop agents of KAOS from completing their evil plans.

Created by Buck Henry and Mel Brooks as parody of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. movies, but later only Buck Henry was supervising the series. Unfortunately the U.N.C.L.E. series was so poorly written and performed (it was very cheap production) that the only thing that separated it from Get Smart was a laughtrack.

The series wasn’t a great invention - the plots were simple, characters not really complicated, etc. Afterall it is very entertaining series as long as you don’t expect it to be actually funny, because it is sometimes hard to understand what the joke was suppose to be hearing the laughtrack (well, it’s been produced almost 50 years ago).
