Father, Dear Father

1960s British tv sitcom

Renown crime novelist Patrick Glover finds it hard to cope with writing and taking care of his two young daughters, even though they are not that young anymore.

Comedy series based on a simple humour, sort of comedy of missunderstandings. Main character, Patrick Glover, hears something he should not have or he doesn’t understand the situation that he is put in, which causes sometimes quite funny dialogues and scenes.

As of 1960s some of the jokes were rather brave, but thanks to it this comedy series still can be quite enetertaining after all those years. Of course for today audience it could be a little bit too slow or too predictioble, but it is good fun.
