Alfie Wickers is a teacher in Abbey Grove School in Watford, but the problem is he is more immature than his students.
Series created by two stand-up comedians set in the secondary school with a teacher that is more childish than his puppils sounds like a good idea for classic sitcom, but in fact it isn’t in any way classic sitcom. The clumsy and goofy Alfie Wickers is the only element that is classic in this series, the rest has its own style and rythm. Episodes aren’t appealing to any higher tastes - it is simple comedy, in some parts even too simple, some of the jokes on a verge of being vulgar. But surprisingly it is fun to watch. Some of the scenes and some of the jokes did not work well, but the first series started with a high note. Unfortunately since second series the humour became more on the heavy side and even sometimes controversial, which spoiled some of the fun and goof feeling about the show.
It is worth to see Education comedy series (2012-2014)' title='Bad Education comedy series (2012-2014)'>Bad Education - it is entertaining and the music used as soundtrack gives it quite interesting mood, but some of the jokes were bit too racy, some of them were simply weak, and overall it is only one of many above average shows, although it had potential to be great.
