Alfie Wickers is a history teacher at the Abbey Grove School in Watford. His main aims at work are being cool with his students and finally have a second date with Rosie Gulliver, who is also a teacher at Abbey Grove.

| Rosie Gulliver prepares a school trip, so Alfie sees another chance to impress her with his survival skills. |

| Alfie is selected to coach a football team in annual match against his alma mater Middleton House. Problem is Alfie knows absolutely nothing about football. |

| When school elections come up Alfie accidentally gets involved for no good reason. Except to impress Miss Gulliver. |
