Mad scientist creates a robot chicken and makes it watch some TV. Well, a lot of TV, but usually not the way you would expect.
Robot Chicken is created in manner similiar to other projects involving Seth Green, like Family Guy or Austin Powers - lots and lots of bad jokes, toilet humor or just weird sketches that only seldom soars above the mediocrity. Robot Chicken offers parodies of well-known TV shows or movies but adds some twists to the original plots. Sometimes it works well, often it’s weird and incomprehensible, but the main problem is that too often it ’hits the fan’ with really lowbrow toilet humor or adding just some weird sex jokes instead of making effort to create actual parody.
In short - not very original idea, although not bad one, well executed, just wish the scripts were better.
