1990s tv comedy series

Peter Griffin isn’t good father, isn’t good husband, isn’t good friend... which makes him a good character for comedy series. He is surrounded by unusual characters and gets involved in unusual situations.

Family Guy started with high note - very good first season and not bad second brought many people to the series that were very surprised when the show was cancelled. After few years of hiatus the series came back with new seasons, but level of humour was much lower and constantly the jokes were getting more and more personal (which affected other Seth MacFarlane series American Dad!).

Overall - an average series that could have been much better if the creators could keep the same level of entertaining plots instead of insulting some more or less known people via their series.
