Fantomas, the mysterious and most powerful villain there is - he is elusive, has an army of criminals and any kind of gadgets he would need to reach his target. Ambitious journalist Fandor gets a little bit too close to the truth with his publications and Fantomas takes him on as his next target.

French movie series based on popular novels by Pierre Souvestre and Marcel Allain. The movies are mixture of types: some comedy, some drama, some action. It is made in style similiar to other movies of that time, like f.e. The Gendarme of St. Tropez or early Bond movies. As for comical side the series wasn’t particularly good - Louis de Funes again stole the show with his unique style and talent, rest of the simply didn’t add much comical elements.
