Adventures (or rather misadventures) of two witless police detectives that have to count on their questionable abilities and pure luck during their investigations.
Despite the change on the position of their boss at the end of previous season Superintendent Cottam is back as the leader of the team. And Briggs and Louis are back to what they do best - messing around.

| Briggs is best man at a colleague?s wedding and no one knows why. Almost no one. |

| During another job swap scheme Briggs and Louis end up on the boat at River Thames and actually they love it. Up to the point. |
7 | Go West, Old Man |
| Christmas Special episode. Superintendent Cottam has disappeared and Louis and Briggs are out to find him in the Canada wilderness. |
