Three hypochondriacs Roy Figgis, Norman Binns and Archie Glover are put together in same ward of NHS hospital, where they try hard to keep occupied while the doctors can figure out what is wrong with them.

Norman, young man, arrives to the hospital ward, where he meets the two men he will have to share the room with - lorry driver Figgis and hypochondriac Glover.

| Norman arrives at the ward and is given the bed next to the window. But as he soon will find out there is large demand for that bad. |
2 | Operation Norman |
| Norman’s due for his appendix operation and is rather upset about it. He turns to Figgis for comfort in his hour of need. |
3 | The Rumour |
| Figgis overhears doctor Thorpe telling Gupte that his dog may not live much longer. Unfortunately, Figgis didn’t actually hear the part about the dog, so he is convinced that one of them might die soon. |
4 | The Man With the Face |
| Archie’s old flings are creeping upon him when Greek bully comes to visit him in the hospital telling that Glover used to date his fiancée. |
5 | Let Them Eat Cake |
| Figgis practically starts the hunger strike in the ward, but he didn’t foreseen how this could end. |
6 | Tangled Web |
| Archie and Norman are trying to win the heart of same young woman while Figgis sees it all as it was cheap romance novel. |
7 | Is There a Doctor in the House? |
| Tired of sitting in bed all day, Figgis disguises himself as a doctor and goes to a pub, where he is mistaken for real doctor. |
