Very Bad Things

Except—it means she’s at risk of her third strike.

2

Jump for Joy

Earl and Randy ask Catalina to return to her old job at the strip club, but they don’t tell her that they need her to do it so that the club’s owner (Burt Reynolds) will pay for Joy’s bail. When Catalina does find out about Joy’s bail she angrily rejects it. So Joy performs at Club Chubby for her bail but, to calm her nerves, drinks so much that she throws up on the audience. Catalina sees how stressed out Earl is and takes back her job, saying, "When I jump, I jump for Earl; I would never jump for Joy."

3

Sticks & Stones

Earl makes up for teasing a bearded girl in school, and it forces him to confront his fear of taking his shirt off in public because of his unusually hairy nipples. He ends up helping the bearded woman, and her unusual circus friends, to feel more comfortable with themselves.

4

Larceny of a Kitty Cat

When Randy has a crush on the next woman on Earl’s list (Amy Sedaris), he pretends to be a cat lover, despite an allergy. But based on Randy’s past experiences as a poser, Earl knows that this one will end badly.

5

Van Hickey

Earl has to get his old band back together to take care of an elderly man (Larry Hankin) on his list. But it only brings out a nasty secret which ultimately forces Earl to marry Ralph’s mom.

6

Made a Lady Think I Was God

Earl wants to make amends to an angry, bitter trailer park manager (Roseanne Barr) for playing a trick on her. But the trick caused her to change her life for the better, and the apology makes her even angrier than she ever was.

7

Mailbox

Catalina helps Earl cross #75 off his list, which involves delivering mail which was found in a mailbox which Randy and Earl used as a waste basket. Earl then falls in love with the intended recipient of one of the letters (Jenny McCarthy). Meanwhile, Randy delivers a second letter to Joy and upon opening it, she discovers that Darnell is part of the witness protection program with his real name being Harry Monroe.

8

Robbed a Stoner Blind

After Earl and Randy attempt to make amends with a former drug addict (Christian Slater), Earl joins him for a week at a commune and then tries to prevent global warming from spreading. Randy accidentally eats some medicine which causes him to see everything animated with clay. Earl thinks this is him agreeing with Earl who is confused about this lifestyle at Commune.

9

Born a Gamblin’ Man

Earl’s gay friend Kenny wants to be more masculine, so Earl tries to teach him. They both develop a gambling problem – indirectly causing Catalina to get deported, just as Randy is getting ready to reveal that he loves her.

10

South of the Border, part 1

Earl and Randy head south to look for Catalina, but run into a variety of obstacles.

11

South of the Border, part 2

Randy is heartbroken when Catalina’s uncle (John Leguizamo) announces that Earl has agreed to marry her so she can get a green card. He must complete a series of tests to become her husband. So Earl purposely fails the tests so that Randy can try to pass them to marry her instead.

12

Our "Cops" Is On

The townspeople gather around the Crab Shack’s TV to watch an episode of Cops featuring Camden County. But this reveals more problems to add to Earl’s list.

13

14

Kept a Guy Locked in a Truck

Earl sets out to atone for having locked a man in a truck, only to discover that that man has since died, and puzzles over how he can make amends. So he tries to throw a funeral for him. (John Waters appears as a funeral director.)

15

Foreign Exchange Student

In school, Earl bullied Pierre (Ernie Grunwald), a French foreign exchange student. To make amends, he flies the Frenchman back to Camden County. But the visitor flirts with Catalina, making Randy violently jealous. Catalina holds back the truth on how she really feels about Randy – until they spend the night together.

16

Blow

Earl wants to cross Little Chubby off his list, but when he goes about helping him, it only turns out for the worse.

21

G.E.D.

Earl’s application for a credit card is rejected because he lacks a high school diploma, a job, and a real place to live. He decides he needs to take some big steps towards finally growing up. When Earl returns to school to study for the GED, he finds out how hard it is for teachers when they have to deal with students like the one he used to be when he was a kid.

22

Get a Real Job

Earl and Randy work at an appliance store as truck loaders. When Earl tries to get promoted to salesman, he gets his customers stolen away by the other junior college educated staff. With Joy’s court date approaching, she prepares Darnell and her kids for their uncertain, possibly Joyless future. The episode parodies the movie Rudy, featuring Sean Astin (Rudy), Charles S Dutton (Fortune, the Groundskeeper) , and Chelcie Ross (Coach Devine).

23

The Trial

Earl and Randy move out of the motel and get an apartment. Joy faces a life sentence in prison and Earl testifies as a character witness. Earl starts dating Ruby Whitlow (Marlee Matlin), Joy’s deaf lawyer, when he still has a void in his life that an education and a job couldn’t fill. As Joy was about to be locked away for life, Earl admits that "he" committed the crime so that Joy wouldn’t go to prison. Sadly, the judge gives Earl a 2 year sentence, forcing him to lose Ruby, his job, his apartment, and his list.
