Gary advertises to find a new flatmate when Dermot moves out. Unimpressed with the offers he receives, he finally settles with Tony.

Gary feels insecure when he suspects that his new flatmate might be gay.

Tony is unhappy in his current relationship and thinks about ending it. Gary gets involved with doubtful skills.

When Gary discovers that one of Dorothy’s records is rare and could be worth a lot of money, he sells it to Tony. Unfortunately Dorothy finds out about it.

Dorothy, Gary, Tony and Deborah go out shopping, which ends up with two of them trapped in the lift and two in the van.

Tony’s annoying brother and girlfriend are commandeering Gary’s flat, whose tolerance is wearing thin.
