Going Straight
1970s British tv sitcom
When Fletcher gets out of the prison he makes the decision to go straight from that point in life. He moves in with his daughter and tries to keep low profile, but each day he trips on the things from his past.
Going Straight Series 1 (1978)
Fletcher leaves the prison and comes home to find that his daughter Ingrid is dating his ex-cellmate Godber.

| On the train back home Fletcher meets Mr Mackay, who just started his early retirement. |

| Fletcher meets his probation officer, but he is more preoccupied with the loot he has hidden when before he went to prison. |
3 | Going Sour |
| Fletcher feels he has nothing to do all day. While in the local cafe he meets a young girl, who is sleeping rough. Fletch is determined to help her. |
4 | Going to Work |
| Probation officer finds a job for Fletcher - he is to become a night receptionist at a hotel, but first night he has problem getting there. |
5 | Going Going Gone |
| While at work Fletcher begins to suspect that two of the guests of the hotel are con artists and since police would not believe him he decides to act on his own. |
6 | Going Off the Rails |
| While Godber and Ingrid are planning the wedding Fletcher is depressed that he doesn’t have money to pay his part of the costs and is tempted to join a robbery to get the money. |
