Unemployed David Pearce and his wife Amy stumble upon another couple of Britons staying in the same hotel. David tries to impress the newly met people.

After spectating corrida David annoys the matador known as El Macho.

David tries to impress Linda by keeping in a good shape, which annoys Amy and leads to a nasty tumble.

While in the Gypsy village David buys a shawl for Linda and tries to hide that fact from Amy.

Linda comes up with a system that would allow her to meet with David without bringing attention of their spouses, but not everything goes according to plan.

Amy walks in on kissing David and Linda, which complicates the situation even further.

David and Linda plan to leave the hotel together, but there are some details they have not taken into consideration.
