Set in fictional St Ogg’s cathedral All Gas and Gaiters shows the life of bishop, his friend the archdeacon and the bishop’s chaplain as they try to deal with everyday problems and one man they simply can’t stand - the dean. Radio version of a popular TV show.

| Bishop writes and article for a local paper about the old tradition called "Pedlar’s Right", but the outcome of that publication surprises him. |
4 | The Bishop Turns to Crime |
| Dean etrusts the bishop with taking care about his precious plants in the greenhouse, but strange circumstances leads to a visit of an ex-burglar. |
5 | The Bishop Sees a Ghost |
| Bishop is determined to stop the gossip that there is a ghost in a catherdral, so he intends to spend the night there. Of course not alone - he drags Noote with him. |
6 | Only Three Can Play |
| Bishop plans to the Thursday night playing game with Noote and the archdeacon, but his plans are ruined when suddenly Dean arrives. |
7 | The Dean Goes Primitive |
| Dean decides to change the cathedral according to a "primitive church" doctrine, but that means removal of several items form it, including the pillows on which the bishop sits during the sermons. Bishop is determined to stop that idea. |
8 | The Bishop Gets a Letter |
| A letter received from archbishop makes the bishop realizes that there are parishes he hasn’t visited for a long time, so he takes archdeacon and Noone and sets to one of them bearing gifts. |
9 | The Bishop Gives a Party |
| After attending dean’s party filled with child plays the bishop doesn’t want to hear about going to such party anymore. But that changes when suddenly dean’s sister arrives. |
10 | The Bishop Goes to Town |
| Bishop goes to London to take part in an auction hoping to secure a position in the cathedral history. |
11 | Give a Dog a Bad Name |
| The Dean has heard Noote whispering sweet nothings to, as he assumes, a woman in the old stables and makes a complaint to the bishop about his behaviour. |
12 | The Bishop Gives a Shove |
| Bishop is given the chance to finally get away from dean for good when he is offered the position in newly created diocese of Chelsea. |
13 | The Bishop Pays a Visit |
| Dean complains that bishop should make an official visit to St Ogg’s cathedral, which is a pure formality. But to teach dean a lesson bishop decides to make it something more than just formality - he intends to go through the whole inventory of the cathedral. |
